LONDON FOOTBALL AWARDS

The London Football Awards 2023 took place on 13th March, 2023 with Arsenal Men  shinning in the event and the WINNERS of different awards were as follows:
Men Young Player of the Year :Bukayo Saka (Won the award for the second time after winning in 2021)

Women Young Player of the Year:Lauren James (Player at Chelsea Women FC).
Goalkeeper of the Year :Aaron Ramsadale (Arsenal Men G.K)

Manager of the Year:Mikel Arteta (Coach Arsenal Men)Mastermind behind Arsenal best form these season.

Men Player of Year:Martin Ødegaard The Skipper as really been excellent for the gunners.

Women Player of the Year:Sam Kerr(Player at Chelsea Women FC)
Goal of the season award :Son Heung Min (Tottenham Hotspurs)the goal was vs Leicester in the premier league in September 2022.
Community Project of the Year award : Brentford Community Sport Trust(Tackling discrimination through the power of football).
Outstanding Contribution to London Football Award : Westham's Mark Noble (for his services to the capital football legacy)
Power of football award: England Women Team (lioness)achieved after winning the last edition of women Euros .

REMARKABLY ODADA WAS DESTINED FOR STARS

RICHARD ODADA " Richie " was intended to be a top player for Kenya " Harambee Stars "since his youthful days back in Laiser Hill Academy and AFC Leopards. In February , 2018 he went for trials in Europe with Italian giants  JUVENTUS  but did not succeed also tried trials with other big clubs. April , 2018 he featured for Kenya R ising Stars Under 20 in Africa Championship Qualifiers where he scored the lone goal in a 1-1 draw encounter vs Rwanda the goal was assisted by Alpha Onyango. The  U20 squad was star studded with likes of Humphrey Katasi, Musa Masika (Ayub Timbe younger brother),Boniface Onyango, Yusuf Mainge , Sydney Lokale, Tom Teka and Keegan Ndemi among many other good players with Stanley Okumbi as the Coach.  Odada after the action vs Qatar in a friendly match  December,2018 he joined Red Star Belgrade (Crevna Zvezda ) in Serbia top flight on a 4 years contract ,he was just 18 then and used to turn up for the U19s , he was loaned to Grafica

INDOMITABLE LIONESSES, HARAMBEE STARLETS CLASH

Cameroon(W)vs Kenya(W) 2024 WAFCON qualifiers to be held in Morocco will be a mouth-watering clash, the two-legged match will take place in Doula , Cameroon and Nairobi, Kenya on 22nd and 26th September respectively , the winner overall will face the victor between Gabon and Botswana . Second round qualifiers will be played November 27 & December 5, 2023. Harambee Starlets   the Beldine Ademba coached side squad that travelled to the West Africa country, in addition to the team was late inclusion Mercy Njeri among other top players Kundu, Ingosi, Cynthia Shilwatso, Vivian Aquino, Akida makes a comeback to the squad and Mwanalima Adam adding depth on the attack that is star studded.  📷 courtesy.
