KENYA POLICE VS KARIOBANGI SHARKS
K.Sharks will be the home team as they welcome the "Police Men"  on Saturday 26/08/202 ,1500hrs at Kasarani Annex on yet another entertaining fixtures of the weekend. 
Last season Sharks finished 11th while Police finished 3rd ,both teams will be aiming towards lifting the trophy for the first time and if not so at least finish in a better position these new season .
The teams have met 4 times previously in the top tier division and Kenya Police F.C emerged victorious in 3 of them while K.Sharks  only have won one outing with the side, they first met in 08/12/2021 where Police thrashed the "slum boys " 3-1 with Miheso  grabbing a brace while Kinanga  scored the other one for Police ,Omotto scored the consoling goal that day for K.Sharks who were also red carded later in the game Police went on to lose the next match 1-0 to K.Sharks before, Francis Barasa  came on board and  did  a double against the K.Sharks men last season,the last encounter ended in 3-2 win in favour of Police with Abuya ,Miheso and Rupia on the score sheet for Police while Tyson  and Fortune were on target  for the William  Mluhya led side.

Both sides have acquired new signings ahead of the 23/24 season .K.Sharks  have signed the likes of; Lenox Kimani,Donald Ange and Bernard Jairo all raided from the relegated Mathare United, Victor Ngume from NSL side Mara Sugar , Stanley Wilson  from NSL side Darajani Gogo with Panchol Ghai  and Sigmunn Maina being promoted to the senior team  from the K.Sharks youth side.Police also reinforced there midfield by signing Muguna who left Tanzanian side Azam F.C and Tyson Otieno from K.Sharks who will be facing his former side for the first time since his transfer and speaking during pre match interview Tyson said he is ready to face his former teammates and will give the best to see his side come out victorious during the clash .Salim Babu also joined the Police techinical bench as an assistant coach from Nzoia Sugar and will help Francis Baraza who they once worked together back in the days in Sony sugar when he was a player.
Speaking during pre match interview Francis Baraza said that he expects a tough match from the "slum boys "  despite doing a double last season against  them,he knows it is not going to be easy, he said the opponent team has done good reinforcement in their squad consisting  of young players who are energetic and can cause troubles anytime, he expects his team to start on high unlike last season and win the game comes Saturday.

Kenya Police F.C had a good pre-season playing a number of top teams outside the country likes of ; Rayon Sports from Rwanda ,Singida from Tanzania and top local teams too and they believe there are well prepared to challenge for the title these season.
Kariobangi Sharks had a good pre season towards the new season as they played local teams and also competed in the Elite pre season cup which they lost on the final against K.P.L side Bidco United,they believe they have well trained and ready to crush any team that comes in front of them in there title chasing season. 
Saturday Kasarani Annex at 3:00pm the tough match will be staged,we hope to see a fascinating match full of enjoyment. 
These is how I think the two sides will lineup:
KENYA POLICE;
MATASI in goal ,the backline led by captain MUSA MOHAMMED along side D.CHECHE in central defense D.OWINO and B.BADI on the sides, OUMA and MARVIN partnership  deep in the Midfield MUGUNA as the attacking midfielder and on the wings coming from the Midfield TYSON OTIENO and KAHATA,RUPIA as the lead attacker. 
KARIOBANGI SHARKS ;
BERNARD JAIRO in between  the sticks,EKHAVI, OTIALA and PANCHOL GHAI at the heart of the defense,STEVE BIKO, IMBALI , STANLEY WILSON and  ONYANGO GEOFFREY in the midfield with FORTUNE OMOTTO in front of the midfield, then the attack to be led by  LEON OTIENO and NGUME .
